Fotografi adalah bagian dan adaptasi modern dari seni rupa yang menyajikan bentuk visual dalam setiap karyanya. Seni kolase foto merupakan salah satu teknik fotografi yang dapat digunakan untuk mencapai kebutuhan apabila seorang seniman berekspresi dengan tema-tema yang tidak memacu pada realitas.

Seni kolase dalam fotografi merupakan konsep penciptaan karya seni fotografi sebagai ekspresi pribadi dalam menanggapi keadaan yang terjadi pada diri saya. Dengan proses kolase saya menemukan suatu bentuk baru dalam penciptaan karya. Bentuk-bentuk itu berawal dari imajinasi pribadi dalam menanggapi objek-objek yang telah ada sebelumnya seperti manusia, benda hingga alam. Berlandaskan ide dan sikap pandang kreatif, penulis mencoba mengeksploitasi wujud alami dari objek yang dituju tersebut. Dalam hal ini objek akan mengalami penyimpangan dan pembentukan kembali sebagai wujud yang berbeda.
" Photo Collage art is my photography concept of art as a personal expression in response to everything that happened to me. With the Photo Collage process I discovered a new form of works. This forms comes from my personal imagination in response to objects that have been there before just like a human, or natural objects. Based in that creative ideas and my creative point of view, I tries to exploit the original form of the objects. In this case the objects will experience irregularities and then re-form as a different objects."
